Isabel Townsend

Vice Chair

I moved to Blackburn in 2023 with my husband & two young sons, after relocating from Brighton to be closer to family. I have work experience in research & compliance and have worked in the Middle East & London. While I have not lived in the village long, I am looking forward to working on new community projects.

Emma Morrison

Secretary

Originally from Inverness, I moved to Blackburn in 2017 and fell in love with the village and its surroundings. I have been a volunteer helping to create and deliver the Blackie Banter newsletters for the past few years and am looking forward to getting involved in new community projects. I have work experience in research & project management & in my spare time, I love to travel.

Peter Robinson

I've lived in Blackburn since 1993 and have previous experience from sitting on the former Fintray and Kinellar Community Council. I'm married with three grown up children. Born and brought up in Nottingham, I flew for British Airways from 1971 until 2004. For part of this time, 1986 until 1991, I was based in Aberdeen.

I retired in 2009

I'm retired and have lived in Blackburn for 43 years. I've been involved with various football teams in the village over the years and also help with the Christmas lights.

Alex Lamb

We built our house in Blackburn and moved in 1977.

I am a retired qualified Chartered Civil Engineer. Gained work experience

with Local Authorities, Construction Contractors and Consulting Engineers, both in the UK and overseas. Lately I ran a successful Consulting Engineers Practise in Blackburn.
